Gravestones stand guard through the night at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Ky. The cemetery, operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, lies near the site of the Battle of Mill Springs, the first significant Union victory in the Civil War and the second largest battle in Kentucky.

This last week I had the privilege of participating in Sports Shooter Academy thanks in large part to a scholarship from Nikon to cover tuition. I had dreamt of attending the workshop in California ever since I first found out about Sports Shooter years ago.
